M010S – Updated model of M009S and a great piece of kit

I’ve tried many tablets over the last several months and after reading the comments about the Tabtech M009S device I was selected that model, then to my amazement, I spotted the White M010S with the same spec as the M009S, but as I have discovered with updated kernel, I think all other stuff is the same, aside from the color. This device is terribly stable and keeps my Wi-Fi connected about all of the time. The control interface is rather like the common Android, though there are some nice enhancements from my other tablet ( Storage Choices Scroll two, eight” running Android 2.1 ). The Kindle app, YouTube app and all others installed on this device work completely and having a correct working Android Store is a big bonus. If you use the Dolphin browser, pr-installed on my machine then the Flash 10.1 works superbly on the sites I have visited, BBC reports, Sky Reports etc, though on some sites you’ll get a popup saying the Flash is an analysis copy, this has not caused any difficulty though . You can also view BBC iPlayer, just have a good powerful Wi-Fi connection first. Reading on the device is a pleasure, though again as with lots of these devices, reading outside in bright weather is virtually impossible.

I’d stick to inside reading for the best experience.

The device is light to hold and the battery charge is the ordinary four / five hours with Wi-Fi off. You will get around two hours of heavy net / skimming use with Wi-Fi on but if you keep your wire plugged in, this will not be an issue. The device also includes an attachment to permit USB wire connection and Ethernet wire as well, but if you leave home without it then no standard connection will work. If you’ve got a Card reader to hand for the optional Micro SD card, then just use that to transfer files to the card then use in your gadget.

It is nice having a white tablet too for whatever reason, perhaps I just love to be different, dull old black is so last year.
